A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Randy and I have been married over 11 years. Kennedy is 9 and in 3rd grade and Raegan will be 6 in October, Kindergarten. Randy has one daughter Kenzi. We lost our helicopter this June when a storm came through destroying the building that held our helicopter. Randy keeps busy helping his family and hopes to do some spraying this winter in CA. I continue to work at Onaga and Eastridge nursing home. Wow, lots of things going on. Here is our life. Here is my story of our lives.

My beautiful family

Since it has been a while since I posted, just some misc. pics. Last years trip to CO, christmas and obviously snow days.

Our Year of Cheer

So I got the girls involved in a cheer competition group at Little Steps Gymnastics in Seneca. It has been an interesting year of 4 competitions in KC, Topeka and Omaha. Next weekend will be our Nationals in KC and then done for the year. Raegan may do it again, but not for sure. Kennedy is a no go. They have enjoyed it, more so Raegan than Kennedy. Definately a culture shock but been interesting. Here are some pics from various competitions.

Out for a day to Manhattan - Pictures of my girls

I decided to take the girls to Manhattan. Went to Sears Portrait Studio for some individual pics of the girls and then I had to have a few with them. They turned out great and Kennedy and Raegan did such a good job.
Its amazing how quickly they are growing and changing each day. Where has the time went and the things we get to look forward to. It will be amazing to see how they grow and change. It is already happening just by the way they talk. It cracks me up in some of the things that they say.

Rock Chalk 8th Birthday

As you know, excluding my husband, the girls and I like KU. Rock Chalk Jayhawks!! Kennedy's theme for her birthday, what more fun. The cake, the balloons and even most of her gifts were KU themed. She loved it and had a good time. Had all our family out to the house for the evening and it was a gorgeous one at that. Comfortable, no wind and the kids enjoyed eachother. The food, wow what a selection of choices. Then the cake and ice cream. Suffice to say, everyone went away full. It was a good time and Kennedy enjoyed it immensely. My baby is 8, wow where did the time go. We also celebrated Sam's birthday too which is on the 25th. As you can see by the pictures a good time was had by all.

Up, Up and Away

That's my husband, what a good pilot he is.

Okay, so I finally did it. I went for a ride in the helicopter with my husband and obviously I'm here to talk about it. It was a great experience. We flew over our house and around Corning. Beautiful day it was. Little breezy, but good. My husband is a great pilot and he does such a good job at it. I am so proud of his accomplishments.
